Back To The Future: The Game takes the main components from the classic film franchise, with moderate references throughout, and incorporates them into a more modern videogame format. Contrary to the short episodic adventures of TellTale’s The Wolf Among Us, I found The Walking Dead Game a much more challenging affair with one episode averaging around three hours complete time. FIVE REASONS WHY LA NOIRE WAS A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT

Watching the launch trailer for LA Noire (2011) and it does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s an eclectic mix of corruption and combined crime – reminiscent of the amateur Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) spin off series.

I thought it held a unique flavour as the player was immediately immersed in a 1940s post war era – the time of “Hollywood’s Golden Age” – which proved highly ambitious for such a franchise. I’d actually suggest its most redeeming feature was the impressive list of instantly recognisable guest stars, with lead Cole Phelps voiced by Mad Men’s Aaron Staton. Continue reading
